What was your Dragon Ball experience?

I was 11 years old(now im 22) the first time I saw this anime thru Black and White Television and the reception was pretty bad but it was really a big hit at that time.I had some dbz toys and game cards collected but they were all gone now... It was really epic because this anime brought me to watching other animes.It was the pioneer I should say.

Since that was my first time I certainly understood an anime story not just by watching the powers exploding in my very eyes, I became half-crazy putting some gel on my hair and had it grown long like supersaiyan.Not only that, the contents of my notebooks were messed up with goku powering kami hami wave from the front to back page.

In school,we assigned names of dragon ball characters and then we began fighting as if we were.Even girls joined the fight.We also used to sing the opening song ,chala-head-chala,.,lol,Those are the three great words I dont forget in my entire life.The anime had been running for three years and I say It is the pillar of all animes nowadays.....

Yeah your me too..But I love this series so much so i don't care if the reception is not clear the important is i can watch the Dragon Ball series....I love this anime so much!
