I prefer season 1 because it was much more developed, not to mention having supreme characters/development.Eventhough I haven't seen much of the second season but apparently it is a little worse....and Hei becomes a drunkard. The first season was great, but slowly, it got worse and worse. I've read the manga and its just awesome. I personally like the ending to season 1.
